Not Me! Monday

Monday.... oh, how you rush into my life with roaring boom.  We had such a great, fun, and relaxing Monday. I would say I'm bummed that it's Monday again, but i'm not :-) Steven is still on his oh, so marvelously long break, and I'm enjoying every second of it.

Onto Not Me! Monday!!! Wahoooie!!!!



Upon going to bed recently, I did not grab my astringent instead of my makeup remover.  Opps, big ouch. I did not then proceed to rub it all over my eyes in an attempt to get my makeup off, but upon smelling the alcohol smell and realizing what it was, did not start screaming like a toddler who had just had his train yanked away. I highly do not recommend taking off your eye makeup with astringent :-)

My husband has not been playing Modern Warfare 2 all stinkin' day on his computer. Hours of him playing have not resulted in him "ignoring" me.  I did not just have to repeat myself 5 times just to get him to hear me. Oh well, boys and their video games.

I did not spill half of the can of diced tomatoes last night that I needed for the recipe we were making.  My husband did not then proceed to pour sprinkle in about half a cup of pepper into the sauce. No wonder all of our friends were literally sweating. Haha.

I have not let our laundry get so behind that we did 4 loads of laundry last week and still have about 2 1/2 sitting in bags. I did not wear a pair of my husband socks this weekend because all of mine were in the washing machine. Oh dear, I think I just heard the dryer beep ;-)

It is not me who was having a crazy insane dream the other night and started choking on something... in my dream of course.  In my dream, I did not start spitting in order to stop choking.. which totally doesn't make sense by the way.  It was not me who woke up to find myself spitting all over my pillow. I did not then wake up my husband who was in a deep sleep, just to tell him I had spit all over my pillow because I thought it was hilarious. Oh, the joys of acting out dreams...which I apparently do all the time, haha.


I am not unbelievably excited that my husband is done with his first semester in grad school.  I have not already started thinking of everything I want to do with him on his couple week break. I do not happen to think that I have the absolute best husband in the world!

Not Me! Monday

Well, since I haven't done this in awhile I thought I start up again by professing to the world what I and my husband have not been doing lately.  Check out Mckmama's blog for other hilarious tales of things that people aren't doing :-)





My husband has not been sitting in front a computer almost 24/7 for the last 2 weeks trying to finish up his end of the semester project. He has not yelled out at the computer many times because Alias (one of his design programs) was "not listening."  I have not attempted to draw just so I could help him out. 

We are not celebrating 7 years of being together today.  We did not just celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary a week ago!!!


I did not do all the dishes and then leave the crock pot dirty and half full of left over soup from last night simply because the smell made me gag.  Yuck, I do not have that weak of a stomach.

It is not me who sat around in my pj's all day and simply changed into another set of pj bottoms just so my husband would think I hadn't been wearing pj's all day and had changed clothes. Hey, it made sense to me at the time, haha!



  

Not Me! Monday

Ya'll this bloggin' girl is back in action! After three marvelous weeks of being in good ole' North Carolina, my hot stud of a husband and I are now back in Germany. So, what does that mean to my avid or not so avid readers? It means that ya'll will be overcome with day to day posts full of interesting material.  Ok, ok, so I may not write about interesting stuff, but us being back means that I will have the time to blog now.  So, what better way to kick off this week than with a Not Me! Monday post?!

Let's see what has not happened in my life lately... Oh, and make sure to pop over to Mckmama's blog for some more interesting and somewhat hilarious tales...






It was not me (and my studly husband) that were stranded in Hamburg's amazingly boring airport for 11+ hours.  We did not miss our connecting flight to Stuttgart because our flight coming into Hamburg did not leave 45 minutes late.  We did not run like mad men trying to make the flight.  We were not bitter and did not spend the 11+ hours sulking and eating with another girl who had missed the flight as well. P.S. Natalie (the girl who missed the flight that we made friends with), you rock!

My husband and I did not travel for 31 hours to get home this week.  We did not get in until past midnight when we were originally suppose to get in at 10 am that day. We did not fall asleep at Hamburg's airport due to the fact that we hadn't slept in over 24 hours.

My husband and I did not sleep until 4 pm on Saturday. Nope! Hey, at least we have an excuse. Jetlag anyone? :-)


Notice a theme? Yes, we have just arrived home so all the Not Me's! are about us traveling :-)

It is not my husband and I who will be in the good ole' U.S.A as of midnight tomorrow night!!! We are SO excited!!!!!!

It is not me who played online dominoes against my husband the other day while we were sitting in the same room. It is not me who kept getting request from some guy to go play him in a private room.  It is not me who got annoyed by the fact that I kept rejecting his request and yet he kept adding me.  I definitely did not get so annoyed that I told him I was a 52 year old transvestite that lived in Antarctica.  It was not me who thought that idea was hilarious and then was promptly booted out of the game room.  Because in reality, I am really a 23 year old FEMALE that is happily married in Germany! Booyah!




  

Not Me! Monday

It is not my husband and I that will be USA bound as of next Tuesday! We are not looking forward to getting out of Pforzheim, Germany for three weeks. We are not excited about this and have not been counting down for a month now!!!! I repeat, we are NOT excited. At all. Not one little bit.

It is not me who wore 5 different layers upon leaving the house this weekend.  It was not me who was told that I looked pregnant due to the many layers I had on.  It is not me who cannot tolerate the cold here. I'm pretty sure I'm going to freeze to death this winter.

I did not spend 2 hours cutting out paper snowflakes on Friday.  My husband and I did not cut out even more snowflakes on Sunday for 1 1/2 hours.  I do not have a permanently numb thumb as a result.  Seriously, does anyone know why the feeling won't come back all the way?

And, this my friends, is the last Not Me! Monday until we are in sweet ole' North Carolina! I cannot wait!

Oh, to have some Bojangles sweet tea and chicken biscuits.  And, strawberry limeades from Sonic... and Chick-fil-A... oooo, I can't wait!

It's that day again...





Wahoo! Mondays are my new Fridays... ok, maybe not but it sounded uplifting, right? Hmmm... let's get this party started! Go check out MckMama's blog for some more funny Not Me! Mondays!

It was not me who couldn't figure out which bathroom to use while out the other day. It was not me who decided to just chance it and walk in the closest one to me. And, it was not me who once in the bathroom, nearly knocked myself out while trying to pull my pants up.

It was not me who was running down the hallway while seeing how far I could "skid" in my shoes before I would face plant into the wall.  Psssh, it's not like i'm 23 or something.

I did not forget to do laundry for so many days that we now have 6 loads of laundry to do. It is not me who is secretly okay with it and it is not me who honestly suggested to my husband that he can wear my clean socks and underwear should he need some... Nope, I would not ever suggest such a thing!

It was not me who drank my cup of Coke, forgot that I had drank it, and then proceeded to tell my husband that I did not like how he drank all my coke! Nope, not me... I never accuse my husband of silly things.

It's not me who steals the blankets every single night leaving my husband out in the cold. It's not me who thinks it's funny to wake up and see his little hiney hanging out either. And, it's not me who when her husband wakes her up with his weird sounding snoring, will proceed to snore as loud as she can... until he wakes up.  It's not me who thinks it's funny to let him experience what I hear all night :-)

I did not spend 3 hours playing around on the computer and playing Farmville the other day. I did not proceed to tell Steven how I had a "productive" day by doing so. I'm not lazy, nope not me!
