Sometimes life is hard. I want to give up. Cave in and wave my white flag. I find myself sometimes pleading God for certain circumstances to change. However, I keep hearing this faint voice whisper to me, "Trust me. Don't give up yet."
Trust. It's a hard thing to do sometimes. I've been trying my best to lean and throw my "problems" onto God. Most of the time, I run to Steven first, begging him to assure me that all will be okay. I'm learning, very slowly, through this trying time to trust God. It's a hard thing for me to do at times as it's always a waiting game and me, being the human I am, want instant results.
But, instant results is not how God works.
All I can do is just keep praying and hoping. And, never, ever, ever give up.
We sang this song last night at church and I just love it and the lyrics.
Give Me Faith
Verse:
I need you to soften my heart
To break me apart
I need you to open my eyes
To see that You're shaping my life
Pre-Chorus:
All I am,
I surrender
Chorus:
Give me faith to trust what you say
That you're good and your love is great
I'm broken inside, I give you my life
Verse 2:
I need you to soften my heart
To break me apart
I need you pierce through the dark
And cleanse every part of me
Chorus
Bridge:
I may be weak
Your spirit strong in me
My flesh may fail
My God you never will (repeat)
I hope you all have a wonderful week! Enjoy the song!
