2010 was an eventful year to say the least. It started with Steven and I living in Germany and ended with us living back in Raleigh, NC. It was a year of many new and fun things, but also a year of tears and set backs. Although I'm glad it is a new year, I am thankful for everything we experienced in 2010 as it grew us a lot.
Let's see what went down in the memorable 2010:
Jan-May:
Jan. 17th - celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary (in Germany - how cool is that?!).
May 4th- Left Steven in Germany to come back and find us a place to live and find a job.
May 24th - Started working as a Pre-K teacher at Primrose.
June - July 22nd:
June 6th -Steven's 24th birthday!
June 20th - My sweet Grandma Esther (Dad's mom) passed away.
July 22nd - Steven came home!!!!!! Best day of the summer EVER!
July 26th - Left for the beach for the week. Had a cottage to ourselves for 4 days then went up to Emerald Isle for our annual family reunion.
August:
Aug. 4th - Celebrated my 24th birthday!
September:
Sept. 22nd - My sweet Grandma King passed away.
October through December where kind of a blur... in between all these dates in the fall, both our cars happened to break down, Steven broke his wrist and had to have a CT scan, a good friend of mine got diagnosed with a very aggressive type of brain cancer, and other numerous trials occurred. However, God is good and sustained us through it all!
I am so excited and anxious to see what 2011 brings. Steven will be graduating this July which is so exciting! Especially, the part where we get to travel around Europe afterwards ;-) Hopefully, this year will bring a new job (for him) and other exciting things!
