Fun Day

Well, Steven and I had a fun afternoon! We slept in until 12 today!!! We hadn't given ourselves a day to just sleep without an alarm to catch up on sleep...... so we decided last night that today would be the day :-). Due to the fact that we slept until 12, we didn't get out of our apartment to until around 4:45. We're still laughing thinking about how we have only been up for 6 hours! Haha. Anyways, we started walking because we were (and still are) trying to find a bus that will take us to this store called, Roller. Sounds like an exciting store, I know. Well, we couldn't find bus 722 so we decided to start walking back home because the thought of getting rained on was not to appealing. We stopped at a bakery and got pretzels, called brezeln here, and we also got some jelly donuts called berliners. We're going to try them later and see if they are anything like Krispy Kreme back home ;-) And yes, Dad they were hot ones :-) On the way back home, we started walking through the wine festival that is taking place behind our apartment. Not literally right behind us, but close enough. We had the best time there! We decided to have some authentic German food and boy, was it good! We both had bratwurst mit broetchen (with bread) and french fries. The bratwurst here is so much better than in the States! I can't wait for my Dad to try it since he loves it so much! Needless to say, this has been one of our most fun days so far :-)
